Wow really? What's the ship name? Any idea how long it takes to get to dealership once it arrives in port?

I think you guys may be on different boats. Steve plays hard, you said your car exited port on 1/18 from emden. Hoegh Bangkok left 1/12. My car arrived at emden 1/18. I'm hoping it made it onto the same boat as you. I'll have to check with my sa this week. I wonder how often these cargo ships set sail?

Mine left Emden on 1-11 but was expected to hit Davisville on 1-27. Maybe they leave every 7 days?

That is a SWEET build. I had a GT Silver on Cognac 991.1 C4 GTS for a short while and I loved it. Looking at a 991.2 C4 GTS GT Silver on Cognac again (with Xpel Stealth film) or going Carmine Red on Cognac.

Backrest shells in leather is also a nice touch.

My car was originally supposed to arrive in early March, but my dealer said that mine left Emden on 1-11. Thus, I think it's on the Hoegh Bangkok. He said to expect pick-up in another 7-10 days. So looks like it'll be about a month early. Hoping for some decent weather in the Midwest so I can get it from the dealer (30 miles away) into the garage.

Did a little research and found a link in the Macan forum with shipping info for all Volkswagen AG. Looks like there are quite a few ships from Emden to Davisville in the upcoming month. Name: photo857.jpg

Hello
Returning Porsche owner from 2 Porsches (84 911 EU version, Guards Red & 06 CTT, Carmon Red Metallic) down to none and now back on the order list

2017 911 GTS
Graphite Blue Metallic (yes Grey)
Manual Gear
Rear Axle Steering Option
GTS Interior Package with Alcantara, Carmine Red Stitching
Front Axle Lift
SportDesign Package for the Spoiler
Bose System
& European Delivery (Leipzig)

Deposit surrendered to Sonnen Porsche (Marin County in Northern California) on 1/21/2017, 4 ahead of me I am the 5th on the waiting list.

Never done this before (buying a Porsche NEW from a dealer) since all my previous Porsches were purchased from individuals.

Any guess on how long the wait can be? Sonnen Porsche says they have no idea, saying something like in the summer. I am guessing six months??

Super excited, looking forward to learning from members who have done this before!!
