I think Nick Murray is an awesome guy. Porsche should hire him after what they put him through - and he still ordered a new one.

I agree. His videos are great and they helped me with the ordering process of my car.

Nick's a gent. I saw two of his video reviews on the 991.2. Very detailed. I sent him an email question; he fired right back, promptly with what I was looking for. Can't ask for more than that.

Just got word that my car is done and is awaiting a vessel at Port Emden. Looking like a Dec 16th delivery but hoping sooner. Anyone else in the same boat waiting on a boat?

If the car is at the port why is taking two months to arrive stateside . Ask your dealer for a V code report status. It will show the progression and the status of your car? Do you have a Vin #?

Very similar situation -- after car was at Emden, the tracking schedule allowed 3 weeks at each port (Emden and San Diego). Turns out it was only at Emden for a few days, then hitched a ride on the Glovis Comet -- just left Veracruz and should reach San Diego on 10/18. Net is looks like I will take delivery a month sooner than the schedule indicated -- just after car was completed. My experience is it takes 6 weeks from Emden to delivery on the West Coast.

I have never had a car built or delivered so quickly! I just got this from my sales advisor. Porsche of Tysons and Pat Driscoll are the best.

Order placed: September 26
Vehicle fixed: October 5
Vehicle exit production: October 21
Entry port Eden: 10/28
Delivery: December 9
