Default Where do I put my stuff?

I recently traded my 997.2 for a 991.1. In the 09, there was a small storage area in the frunk that I used to store a set of jumper cables, a quart of oil, a lightweight rain jacket and a few hand tools.

Where does one keep such things in a 991? I hate to just put things in a bag and drop it into the frunk but don't see a good option. Anyone have a good solution?

Thanks

Well, you should not be driving in the rain, so ditch that.

Purchased a large plastic container with lockable lid from Walmart. Glued a piece of closed cell foam to inside of lid. Fits snug in frunk and IMHO no need for $$ lid liner. T

Just think how space-deprived you would be if Porsche actually supplied a spare tire, jack and lug wrench? I have bought one of each so I can only fit my tools, oil, charger and rags. The suitcases and my computer now reside on my wife's lap. She smiles through each trip as the barer of the personal stuff. I have a woman-servant I love. Oh, BTW, she drives the MT GTS better than most of my friends.

Why? The car comes with Porsche road side assistance, my credit card and my insurance come with road side assistance and I have AAA. The challenge is trying to decide which one to call!

I keep miscellaneous junk like that in the rear passenger footwells. I never put anyone in the back seats, so...

I do keep them in clean and tight containers so as not to trash the car.

I don't mean for this come off snarky, but I do wonder about some of the items listed.

Jumper cable. I think 8 out of 10 times roadside assistance is quicker, and better. Perhaps having a cable in the car is worth it for those 2 times, but it's a very close call for me.

Quart of oil. When does one need to have a quart of oil stored in the car? I understand having a quart of oil in the garage to top off, but when would one need oil while driving the car?

Rain jacket. If it's raining, wouldn't it better to just stay in the car?

Tools. There is a small toolbox in the frunk, and if one needed to do anything to the car beyond what is called for in the toolbox, wouldn't roadside assistance be a better option?

I have one of those black zippered oil bags (from Suncoast) that I Velcro to the frunk wall which holds misc stuff. I also have a small shaving/travel bag that holds my detailing supplies. This also lives in the frunk. In addition, I installed an Audi spring loaded luggage hook in the frunk to keep shopping bags secure. I keep very small collapsible umbrellas and a LED Larry Light in the door pockets. My Escort Max 2 case goes under the front seat.

Don't worry, you'll get creative. Look what I can squeeze in for my track days!

It's funny how the 991 is the biggest 911 to date, yet the center console, glove box, and door pockets have never held less.

Lexvan -- That is my point.

I don't have a man-servant ... and don't want one..., don't have a trailer like Homeles and don't want to depend on roadside assistance.

I don't expect others to approve of what I might want to carry in my car, just wanted know if someone has a cleaver method of transporting a few items that they leave in the car.
