Dashboard Gas Indicator Position
I find the right paddle on the Sport Design steering wheel obstructs the Gas indicator on my dashboard. I virtually have have to move my head closer to the wheel to see clearly how much gas I have.
Do you guys have a similar issue or is it just me?

I have the miles to empty shown in the multi function display, so I really don't need the gauge.

Top Line: Compass/Speed Limit
Middle
1. Distance to empty
2. GPS Altitude
3. Dist/time to stopover waypoint (dist/time to final dest displayed on PCM screen)
4. Voltage (no voltage gauge so I like to see this on the display)
This screen is what I have called up mostly. If I am driving fast, TPMS is showing. If I'm in an unfamiliar area, I have the map displayed North Up with the PCM oriented to Direction Up.

yes ..and that is why they " chopped off " most of the upper half of the flappy paddles in the new 991.2 wheel .....good for finally seeing the gas gauge, not so good if you like driving with hands at 10 and 2

I traded my '07 997.1 in for a '13 991.1.
The visibility of all gauges is my biggest complaint about this car. I know you can watch mile to empty on the display but I still like analog gauges that I can read peripherally. Oh, and not to mention the oil pressure gauge. In fact, all of them are difficult to see in a comfortable driving position.
I have the sport design steering wheel. The paddle on the 991.2 is much smaller and looks like it would be easier to read. Do you know if the .1 wheel can be replaced with a .2 wheel?
The idea that I have to move the steering wheel/seat around to read the gauges is ludicrous to me. Driving position is priority 1.
Very, very poor design.

Sounds like a great reason to add CF paddles.
At least that's what I'm going to tell my wife. They are a safety feature.
