Cabriolet S vs the Cabriolet 4S
basically the title is my question. Just trying to get different views on the two types. I was looking for a new Cabriolet S when the dealer pointed out he had a one year old Cabriolet 4S for significantly cheaper optioned exactly the way I wanted.
So just trying to get a few different opinions on the 4

Mine is a fair weather toy. Many folks prefer the wider rear end of the 4S. In dry weather I can't imagine driving so fast on public roads as to lose traction in my C2S. My 993tt was awd but it and the 991 are so different in so many ways it would be pointless to compare them concerning their drive systems. I know I sold a rapidly appreciating asset in order to keep a rapidly depreciating one. I know I kept the best car, just not the best investment....Chris

No downside to the "4S"
Optioned to your liking? Less expensive?
Depending on the details and the 4S price/miles, sounds like a no brainier.

Thanks, it's equipped almost exactly the way I wanted. I knew nothing about the 4 so was curious.
The mileage is very low, under 10000, but it's white. I'm not sure about the color.
Thanks for the info

Color is part of the "optioned the way you want it" category IMHO. If white is ok. Get it, if not, another car will come along.
