These are actually cheap plastic overlays that snap in onto the cheap plastic grill. Once you get the new ones you will see how they fit. You start at the far tab (closest to the wheel) and simply use a finger to press the release and then pull the overlay towards you. Once the far side is free, a little finger press in the middle releases a small catch, and then it just rotates out. Install of the new ones is the reverse, but start on the INSIDE with each one (closest to your hood crest). Literally 1 minute apiece x 4 = 4 minutes to swap out.

As to different color hood crests, lots on EBAY, pick the one you like best.

Smile Bump stops are not a problem in my c4s either.

My c4s is nearly identical to Dr. Collie's. I will try to post a picture soon.
