Default How did you mount your phone?

I am waiting for delivery on my 991, and am looking for phone mounting options. I want to have Escort Live up and running. I want a nice holder and mount that is easily viewable and can charge the phone.

Looking for pics and suggestions. Thank you.

I use a Pro-Clip console mount with a Kuda powered holder. Pro-clip has the better (sleeker) mounts, Kuda has the better (sleeker) holders imo. Perfect for Waze or Escort Live.

Simple elegant mount from t-design. He is member on another forum who makes these himself.
I find this a better position for eye level rather than on the bottom console.

I'm about to do the same. Might also order the sunglass holder. Clever idea!

I'm planning to run an extra iPhone cable into the glovebox and this looks like it will sit nicely to the right of the PCM making it easier to semi-hide the cable. The only downside seems to be that it prevents access to the cup holder but since all foods and liquids are banned from my car that won't be a problem

Another T-design user here.

I modified the T-design one by sticking a small wireless Q charger to it. So now when I snap my phone in, it charges for me without needed to plug a cable into the phone. Cable runs to the glove box.

I saw someone a while back that had a mount that fit into the change holder. Wish I could remember who made it. Very cool and convienant. The pics showed it fit well and was inexpensive.

I love the Kenu Airframe Portable Smartphone Car Mount I get from Amazon for less than $25. I tried several others, which fit into the CD slot, but I like this best, which fits nicely into the air vent without issue. Takes up little real estate and holds iPhone 6 securely. Good luck and enjoy!

RchardC,
Which wireless Qi charger did you use that will fit into the t design mount? I can't find one.

Which vent are you using? The center vents or left vent from steering wheel?

I watched the video on their Web site but it's not clear to me how the mount, well, mounts. Can someone describe how it actually fits?

Thanks!
