Default PASM vs Sport PASM

I'm sure this has been asked multiple times but I'm having issues doing a search.

What is the difference between PASM and Sport PASM?

If PASM lowers the car by 10mm, does the sport version lower the car by a total of 20mm?

What are the other pros and cons?

Your feedback is appreciated.

Correct on your comment below. 10+10:

Lower springs = better handling. I'm drawing a blank, but there is something else in addition to different springs.

Much better aesthetics with smaller wheel gap too.

Lowers car by 20mm, it also adds a small front lip spoiler (on non-GTS or aero kit cars) and the rear spoiler deploys at a much higher angle of attack, i.e. it's steeper.

All in all, it makes a 911 (IMO) handle better and looks better. Win/win!

After driving both, Sport PASM made the list of my must-have options.

I'm no expert (new here) but my experience is that Sport PASM, although firm, is very compliant and comfortable too. I found the ride in comfort mode to be better for street use than my current M4 which surprised me. It really is the best of both worlds and a must have for me.

The only downside is potentially less clearance if that matters to you... although 20mm really isn't THAT much lower

Stiffer springs (by 20-30%, saw the actualy spring rates once in one of the thread up here a while ago). Also not officially confirmed, but I would assume Porsche reworked the damping rate for the shocks as well to compensate for the stiffer springs.

And if you have one of the sport designed packages you get to knock your front lip on stuff.

But the handling and look is fantastic

Is it fair to say you don't need Sport PASM if you have PDCC i.e. you get the best of both worlds with PDCC, comfy when going straight and flat when cornering? I appreciate that Sport PASM is much cheaper

You'll get the PDCC benefits, but not the suspension response of the Sport PASM. Personally, I'd get Sport PASM before I'd get PDCC, but that's just me. A Sport PASM car in Normal mode rides really nice IMO. I have PDCC with Sports PASM and love it.

Get the Sport PASM. It's still a comfortable ride and it really improves the stance.

This is my vote also. I really wouldn't want one without SPASM.

I have PASM with PDCC. I would prefer SPASM, primarily for the lower stance, but I do like not scraping the nose every time I use my driveway or speed bumps.

SPASM gives more than another 20mm lower ride than PASM. The spring rate is higher (e.g. slightly stiffer but not so much that there is harshness) AND the roll bars are stiffer too- they compliment the springs perfectly.

The look is great, the ride is great and the handling and feel are amazing. The rubber front spoiler is a bit lower than the non SPASM front lip, but not a problem once you are aware of it. Minor scrapes tend to stay under the lip. It pops off and on easily too.

jusrt curious are you sure about the rollbars i.e located the different p/n's for them in PET?

Also I think the SPASM lip can be retrofitted to a std (non SD) front facia
