Warm car or just me?

I've found this. It's actually worse in a cab on a warm day with the top down than with it up and the AC on, though I have alcantara seats and they're definitely less bad than the leather I used to have.
I was tempted by the vents, but just liked the way the alcantara interior looked too much.

On my triple black cab, it certainly got very hot inside the cabin.
I installed ceramic 50% tint on the sides and back. Not too dark and not too light, but the ceramic has great heat reflective properties.
Where I really got the benefit, was with a clear ceramic tint on the windshield. Again, it's clear, so no visibility issues but it reflects something like 48% of the heat. Amazing difference, absolutely noticeable.
My a/c works less and I don't have the heat beating into the cockpit.
Was an expensive install at $1,300, but totally worth it IMHO.

You are not alone.
Several people have mentioned getting sticky / sweaty backs.
The A/C's in these cars aren't great and it's a pretty confined space (so circulation is limited)
The ventilated seats really help if you have them, but it's certainly one of the warmer cars that I have.

The AC is powerful enough for the small space inside.
however, I found that on lower left side of the shift stick ( or the area where proclip is installed in this picture .. http://www.proclipusa.com/images/ima...773-4.jpg-800x ),
that area get very warm after driving around. It is like a heater inside the car....

Can you (or anyone?) recommend a good leather-friendly antiperspirant? I'm concerned about pit-sweat trickling down my sides and soaking into the seat bolsters. Even cupping my hand out the window, it dries out the left pit but now with the window down its hot and the right side sweats even more. So forget about that.
Also for cleaning the seat ventilation perforations do you guys prefer Quincke or Whitacre tips on your 27 ga hypodermic needles?

New Poll:
Anyone want to hold Chuck's jock strap?
O No.
O Hell no.
O Are you kidding me?
O I wouldn't touch that with your hand.
O Yes, I mean no.
O Let's keep the pickle in the jar, shall we?
