She is 83 years old and then preceded to tell me she was a retired art teacher and the form and the color combinations were world class. By the way she knew it was a 911 as her husband had bought one in Germany while stationed there in 1965. She added it was a boring Color gray with red interior. Folks we are a lucky bunch......

Alex, it looks great. Now its time to get rid of those break in miles. And did you wash yours? Haven't done that yet. Also, the 60 and the PCA stickers look great. I've got the PCA sticker on and was debating about the 60. I guess it will be going on soon. Thanks, Mark (drinking a Goose Island IPA right now)

Mark, I took the day off just to wash and detail the car. The inside of the wheels are a breeze to clean, however the rust that sets imidiatly on the disc break looks horrible so I used a dry cotton diaper and wiped off, it makes it look great.
I have only driven the car 55 miles as I work 2 miles from my house and the porsche does not warm up enough and it's not good for the engine never to get to operating temp. By default it only gets driven on days off. Can't wait for the weekend. Being over 90 degrees and crazy humid today Presidente. Was my beer of choice today. Have a great week.

Sorry to tease, but I now have a boatload of pictures that need to be processed but I'll get them up asap.

Highlights were a tour of the museum by the guy responsible for the museum collection. Really nice lunch in the Casino. Delivery of our CC along with four others. And then an amazing extended tour of the factory including an apparently almost never heard of tour of the body prep / paint shop.

As my wife said, it was my version of ***** Wonka.

The car is amazing.

Can't wait to share more.
The shot of the 5 cars being shown at once was Willie Wonka indeed. Enjoy the porsche meet. Alex

Ok, it's now a reality. Car has been paid for, and the tickets are booked to pick this thing up on 10/1. I will post pics from Leipzig.

Thanks for sharing all of your pictures. I am even more excited for this car.

Finally, Joe! I kept forgetting that your car hadn't been built yet. I don't know about you, but for me there was something fundamentally good in knowing that it actually existed, somewhere, exactly to my spec.

It's a spectacular car and you're going to be psyched.
