Talking White on Satin Bronze HRE FF01's + Duck Tail + AWE Exhaust = WIN! // TAG Motorsports

Here at TAG Motorsports we recently had the pleasure of doing a build for a local client and RENNLIST member. He recently purchased this pre-loved 2013 C2S, and had it in his possession for two days before he it arrived here at TAG for a little bit of massaging

When it arrived, we immediately wanted to address the ride height, The H&R Lowering Springs were squatting the car down a bit lower than the client desired so we replaced them with the TechArt lowering springs to give it a better stance and improved ride quality.

Next thing we wanted to address is the exhaust system. Being that the client had the factory PSE exhaust from the factory, we elected to go with AWE's Switchpath exhaust system with the Diamond Black Tips. This system makes sure we utilize the in-cabin PSE Switch, as well as give it a aggressive exhaust note with ZERO drone!

To set if off we went with a set of 20" HRE FF01. The client wanted a wheel that was aggressive, without breaking the bank and also able to re-use the OEM Tires. We opted to have the wheels finished in HRE's IPA Finish (Satin Bronze) to give it some flair without being too flashy. We then elected to have the factory caps matched in Satin Bronze to match the wheel for a finishing touch!

Complete Mod List
-HRE FF01's in Satin Bronze (IPA)
Front- 20x8.5 ET50. OEM Pirelli PZero 245/35/20
Rear- 20x11 ET60. OEM Pirelli PZero 295/30/20
- TechArt Lowering Springs
- OEM Porsche Duck Tail
- AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust with Diamond Black Tips
-XPEL Clear Bra Paint Protection on Hood, F+R Fenders, Side Skirts, Bumper

Wow! All i can say is thank you very much! I took a lil trip up Palomar Mtn after I picked it up and you can definitely hear the difference on the AWE exhaust. Under 4k in non sport mode it purrs like a kitten with zero drone. Above 4k...well..its like a lion!!

Has anyone done a duck without the sport design front bumper... I'm not sure I buy the aerodynamic problem but also I just don't want to switch out everything.

I've seen a few older model P cars with the ducktail and no front spoiler but I can't recall seeing a 991 equipped w/o front spoiler w/ducktail. I understand dealerships will not install ducktail w/o sport design front...at least that's what i remember being told...of course i'm old so I don't remember if a dealer told me that or I just read it on rennlist??? ooof

Great look, did you use spacers or did the wheels fit without spacers?

LOL, you definitely need to hire TAG to take your avatar photo. Is that even the same car?

This setup is recommended with the wider OEM 305/30/20 tire, however since the car came with the OEM 295/30/20, we fitted it with the factory spacers until its time to swap tires to the 305/30/20
