I'm about to pull the trigger and am struggling between a 2013 Panamera Turbo and a 2014 911 C4S.
I know it's a weird comparison but I have a 10yr old and a 3 yr old who I would drive to school occasionally. 95% of the time I'll be in the car alone. This will be my daily driver. Mostly highway driving.

IMHO, If you were to post here: https://rennlist.com/forums/panamera-167/ they would even suggest to opt for the C4S T

I actually looked at a Panamera before getting my 911 C4S. One thing I really didn't like in the Panamera was I remember the pillar blocking my view when I looked left before turning right.

I'd definitely vote for the 911 C4S, especially with the manual. I was thinking of getting a Panamera because I wanted something more sophisticated since I was coming from a 2 seat roadster, but I just couldn't enjoy driving the automatic/PDK and the 911 really put a smile on my face vs the Panamera. The only downside for the 911 is the smaller backseats

Even my wife who doesn't like Porsche said to me "getting a 4 door Porsche is ridiculous". 😍

A man of his word and acts quickly! Nice job.

Rhodium? Congrats, wise choice, and looks awesome.

You owe us more pics and specs

I went from a 2010 Pan 4S to a 2014 C4S Cab. Then I bought my wife an 2014 Pan Turbo. Now I have both and really like being able to choose as my mood hits me.

She thought I was crazy buying a Porsche. After I surprised her with the Turbo, she loves it at least as much as I love my C4S.

If I could only have one it would definitely be the C4S Great choice.

Beautiful car, and you without question made the right choice. I really like the sport design wheels painted black . . . a very rare wheel.

Your wife is a keeper. Nice car and I applaud the "no hesitation" action in getting your car. Enjoy it.

If I get the 911 I'll keep my 2014 Mini Cooper S (manual).

Both cars have PSE, Sport Chrono, and PASM. The 911 is a 7 speed manual. I enjoyed the Pani but then drove the 911 and couldn't stop smiling.

Any help much appreciated.
I bought a 550 because my sensible side kicked in. I sold it a year later and bought the 911 which is what I really wanted in the first place. Save yourself approx 20k and don't buy the luxury sedan.

Stunning car! Had I seen the thread earlier the only advice I would have given would be the C4S with 4-way seats to utilize the back. The full-electrics are a total pain in the *** to let people in and out of the back since they move so slowly and have to be moved back far enough that the top of the seat clears the sunvisor when folded forward and then forward again to let the person in the back out.

Funny I owned a 2013 BMW 550i a year ago. Nice but didn't quench the 911 fire I've had for years.

Loving the 911 a few days in. Smiling ear to ear every time I'm next to it. That PSE does not get old!!

Updated photo attached. I still need to share a bunch more photos. The attached one was after taking it out for the first drive. 😀

Specs:
7 speed manual
PSE
Sport Chrono
Premium Package
Bose
PASM
14 way seats
Rhodium Silver with Black interior
PDLS
Sunroof

Thanks all!
