Under Glove Compartment Pollen Cabin Filter
Hi All,
Just a quick post on finding the 2nd, bigger cabin filter for our 991's. Searched high and low and couldn't find a definitive post so here's mine.
It's a 10 minute job. First, glove box removal is NOT necessary. If you stoop and look under the glove box, there is a foam cover held on by 3 plastic screws. You only need remove the screws and foam cover and the door of the Cabin Pollen filter is now accessible. Open door, pull out filter and replace! Voila!

How often is it recommended to change these out? Do they get changed during the standard service? Should we be doing this in addition to the standard service intervals?

I have 17,000 miles & changed both filters. Yes, the smaller Frunk filter was a piece of cake & the filter actually came with a pictoral on how to change. The bigger filter had zero. I only knew it was somewhere near glove box.
The bigger filter was not nearly as dirty as the frunk smaller filter. I plan on changing every year, a small cost for clean cabin air.
