I had a 997.1 Cabriolet in Gt Silver/Cocoa/Cocoa. So far it's been my favorite color combo built. I just ordered a 16' GTS Cabriolet in Rhodium Black/Black with the Full GTS interior with Rhodium deviated stitching, and I hope I like it half as much as the 997.1

Awesome build! It's great that you eliminated most of the "black bits" and alcantara that come standard on the GTS.

I'm honored, and speechless. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I consider myself a novice when it comes to Porsches and all the build possibilities. I spent a good deal of time reading posts on Rennlist and learned a lot from fellow members and contributors.

Thanks. Having the car uniformly silver just looks better to me. I don't like the feel of the fuzzy stuff, so I removed as much of it as I could. The only place I couldn't change is the headliner, which is OK as there is no need to touch it.

Congrats on the car, great build. I have a similar build on a Targa GTS on the way, boat docked in the states a few days ago.

I think I won't be changing anything else after that.

Car looks great. Like the painted skirts and rear diffuser. More pics please!

What HRE's are you thinking about?

Love the Painted S wheels personally! Lightest 20" 991 wheel you can buy too! I guess silver (not painted) would be lighter but your car is unique!

You sure about the weight? I was thinking the CL wheels might be lighter since they are forged and the regular Carrera wheels are cast. Pretty sure the silver wheels are painted silver.

Thanks. I'll get some real camera pics soon. The P44 SC is at the top of the list at the moment. I'm agonizing over the finish as I find looking at pictures misleading as there is too much variation from picture to picture for the same finish. The look that comes closest to what I'm looking for (I think) is brushed dark clear. I think I prefer the brushed tinted clear more, but understand that's been discontinued.

The car is beautiful but the pics are not. It didn't do any justice to the lines of the car.

Thanks. The last few days of waiting are the toughest. But, your wait is almost over; it will be worth the wait. Although my GTS only has gone about 200 miles thus far, I'm thrilled with how everything feels and looks. It's by far the best car I've had.

No argument from me. They were quick shots with my phone as I picked up the car after having it wrapped. I'm also not that artistic. Maybe this pic is better.

Same, my 2009 Turbo Cab was the same color combo. I wish I didn't let her go. What a great combo.
