I just heard from the dealer that my car left Emden 3 days ago and is on the Triton Leader. So far everything has been running about a week ahead of schedule and I hope my luck continues!

Gee wizzz.... And I thought 8 weeks was a long wait.... Must be 9 months for you now Larry? Ever thought of living in the UK? I hear there's a nice pace up north with great driving roads if you're prepared to put up with the horizontal rain!

My car has been in Davisville since the 26th and Porsche expects it to be there for at least two weeks. I am climbing the walls after the car beat every other deadline. There are some things you just can't rush I guess and the port must be seriously packed for such a delay.

Hey ibmiked sorry to hear about that delay - not a good sign that there is no date for the PDI yet ...

keep us posted!

ibemiked, that sucks. Sorry to hear about the delay . . . so frustrating, especially with the car already on U.S. soil. I've heard that Porsche transport is very slow now for some reason and so the rule of thumb is at 7-10 business days from the time the boat docks at Davisville until it reaches the NY area dealerships. Hope you get yours soon!

36 C today.... I'm sure you can 'hear' the complaints !
I followed your ED and loved the pic on the 'ring. Hopefully you'll grow to love the PDK to go with the fantastic SBM. I enjoy mine more every day... Manual mode of course!

Cronus Leader docked in San Diego earlier this morning so my car is at least
on the same continent as I am!!!

now all it has to do is pass thru customs, PDI, and then an 8 hr truck ride to the dealership - HOPE I will have it next weekend!

pictures will be posted!
