The best dog car seat? I didn't even know they make car seats for dogs. The dog looks small enough to be put in a pet carrier.

I Had the idea of installing a plexiglass bubble on the hood above the frunk, sort of like the side machine gun nests on old ww2 bombers. Perfect place for dogs or small children.

Yikes. If I suggested that to the wife for our dog (see avatar), I'd be the one riding in the front. Now, small children on the other hand…

OP….For our princess we use a padded harness, which can then be attached to the seat belt to keep the dog secured while riding in the car, and - heaven forbid - from flying around in a crash/sudden stop scenario. If you're interested in that route, I can get details from my wife…T

My dog prefers to ride up front, rather in the back of my 911. Thus far, she has been happy riding shotgun and has not shown any interest in driving. Maybe the odd location of the ignition confuses her?….T

Our 75lb boxer rides on an Orvis car seat protector hooked to the head rests. He enters and exits the rear on a small narrow blanket that stows in the rear foot well.

He once got over the seat cover and stepped on the door lock button with the key in the ignition at our Porsche dealer. The tech said they could not open the door so go home and get the spare key. I called the dog forward again. Guess just where he stepped...smart puppy.

We got a Standard Poodle -MAX and he is big - 80lbs at least....sits in the back with the seats down.

He's a bit cramped and you have to take it easy round sharp bends and braking or he's flying all over the place!

Haha. My Lab's thoughts exaxtly.

(But if I am perfectly honest, she much prefers her bed in the back of the Audi Allroad)
