Congratulations Reuben & GreenLantern
Believe it or not, all three of our cars were shipmates. Audi shipped my
'Nardo Gray' RS7 in the Auto Atlas to San Diego from Emden! It will look
similar to this:
The RS7 was built last week of December at Neckarsulm & I expect to pick
it up at the end of February at my Audi dealer. It will get there sooner but
I'll be heading to Texas next week for a special Porsche tour (Jack McCall's)
leaving from Houston & heading to West Texas & Big Bend National Park/
Chisos Basin & Rio Grande!
Saludos,
Eduardo

Your car's doppelgänger is being "collected" tomorrow. However, it's being flat bedded from the dealer to my detailer for a bit of make up (full wrap + window tints), clear indicators, Rennline front bumper mesh grills and BMC air filters. After that we can get really excited

Reuben, Check your paint work thoroughly. The white plastic wrap used to protect the car can have a detrimental affect on the car if the paint/lacquer is not completely dry when the protection is fitted. I had a issue with my roof, with lines in the paint. These lines were up to 12'' long and clearly visible in bright light, they covered the whole roof.... Porsche knew what they were and why they had appeared. I got them all polished out by my paint people and Porsche covered all costs.
If you are having your car wrapped I am sure your paint people will pick up any imperfections when the prep and polish..
