Default Opinions on New Wheels

I'm looking at switching my stock Carrera S wheels on my C4S to Victor Equipment Innsbruck in matte black.

Does anyone have a picture of a Jet Black Metallic C4S with these rims?

It would be appreciated.

They look OK to me but I saw a set of new Turbo style wheels for sale and personally, I would go for those.

They look good. But I think I've seen some threads with these in a negative spotlight.

Have you considered painting your S wheels black? They are the lightest 20" wheel from Porsche & have the correct offsets for your 4S. Most here like oem vs aftermarket wheels.

Personally, I,d be hesitant to put a black wheel on a black car. But that's just me.

Like the wheels.

Not so much the color.

Check out some of the HRE offerings. They have different price points too.

On a black car, I'd do a gray/charcoal/platinum type color. Going black, it's too washed out against the black car.

Black wheels show EVERYTHING. Water spots, brake dust, scratches, etc.. Been there, done that, learned my lesson...

No offense but aren't the Victor Equipment wheels a cheap/low quality option? I might consider them for winter use but if they are your summer wheels go with something that has the history/reputation to match your 911.

I appreciate the feedback.

I didn't want to drop $8k to $10k on HRE, BBS, etc...

Victor Equiptment looked nice and they only do Porsche wheels and the offsets are correct.

I think I will powdercoat my Carrera S wheels

Thanks

Avant garde Ruger mesh in black for the same money is an option. Rohana rf2 is a looker as well. Not sure about build quality but I've seen them mounted on a 991 and they look very slick.

Try the HRE Flow Form wheels. Light, strong, priced right. $3200 - $3400 a set for 4S.
