Noise at 2,000 RPMs C4S 7MT
I have a 991 C4S 7MT and when I press the clutch in 1st gear at 2,000 RPMs I hear a rattle coming from the back -- just pressing the clutch, nothing else. It feels more like a metallic vibration. Everything else seems fine, it does it only in that condition.
I tried two other 4S and one also does it and the other does not. Of course the dealer used the one that does it to claim the sound "is normal." I also tried a C2 and there was no noise.
To me, it sounds like a defect, but I might be wrong. I live in a city and shifting at 2,000 RPMs between traffic lights is fairly common -- and now also very annoying.
Any suggestion?

Does not sound/seem normal, buy why are you depressing the clutch at 2,000 rpm?

Mileage? PSE? What if you shift at 4,000 for example?

Went last year to the dealer to have it check. They found nothing wrong.
The car has been winterized since novembre
I will check again if the problem persist this spring
Let me know what they found if they manage to fix it

My exhaust tips were rattling right at 2000 rpms so I repositioned them and tightened them down. Have someone sit in the car and run the rpms around 1900 to 2100 and see if you hear a buzzing sound while standing behind the car.
