Just spoke to the seller... It's a dealer, but sort of doing it as a consignment for a client. 2-owner car, a few rock chips, a couple of small dents, no curb rash, needs tires soon. Higher miles and sunroof delete which probably turns off a few people. Manual and I'd be loving it, but even with the PDK it has me thinking... I really like the white with dark accents, sport exhaust, paddle shift wheel...

Great deal on the white C4S. If it were a bit closer I'd love to check it out. Just waiting a few more months (probably a 991.2 though).

I like this car.

Would being the 4th owner be reason enough to pass and wait for something else? Carfax shows no accidents or issues. First owner drove it for 26 days.

Would prefer purchasing a 1 owner car out of California (I am in Palo Alto).

This one checks all the boxes though...must haves are leather interior, ventilated seats, gt silver, 18 way, sport pasm, pdk.

It's that or I order a 2018 GTS with options I want...

4 owners will turn off some future buyers if & when you go to sell the car.

That being said I have seen original owner cars that have been beat to death.

Years ago I purchased a 3 owner modified 04 Cobra convertible. Car was mint and cared for by 3 previous owners that all had OCD. Car is still mint and sits in my garage with 34,000 miles.

Each car has its own unique story. I would check it out with a PPI before purchasing.

If it was in great condition with low miles and a good PPI, 4 owners wouldn't bother me at all. That looks like a sharp car!

I was originally set on finding a manual 991.1 C4S, but for me, options trumped the transmission. I found one with all the options I cared about (with PDK), so I bought it.

Yes, there's a nostalgia about manual transmissions, but the PDK is damn smooth and wicked in manual mode - especially when paired with SC.

How much did the Carmine Red one at Carlsen Porsche sell for? It sold just a couple weeks ago. I believe it was similarly optioned. That would give you a price point for the Bay Area.

There was also a black one at Palo Alto Audi a couple months ago...

Service history reported to Carfax or no? This car checks almost all of my boxes, but a little leery of a long distance private party sale.

The history looks pretty complete to me. That said, I have the same uneasiness about buying cars long distance private party. Definitely get a PPI.
