Default I didn't know..

I take pride in knowing lots about Porsche but I didn't know until recently that my 991S has PTV as standard on the S..Nice!!

PTV...?

So many abbreviations and I am mostly clueless as to what they mean?

I have mixed feelings about systems like PTV that use rear braking to affect the cars attitude.

The ABD/ESC system on the 997.1 GT3 (and GT2 RS) are well known to overheat (and accelerate the wear) on your rear pads & rotors ... all through small automatic applications of either or both rear brakes...

There is a thread on this somewhere in the bowels of the GT3 forum way back pre 2010...

I would agree with you on track driving but do you feel the same about spirited country road driving?
