So here it is at long last. My official journal/thread is born as my car arrived at the dealer yesterday.

Pickup is tomorrow around 2pm at which point many additional pics will follow along with some early thoughts on the car and what I have planned for it. While I'd love to share the full story about how I ended up in a 911 it will have to wait for now... suffice to say I had a 930 Turbo poster on my wall when I was but a wee lad and through the years the 911 has always been a halo/reference car, an end goal if you will. As things progressed in my life it seemed to get farther away due to the upward pricing spiral but was fortunate enough to have a few things change to put me where I am today. Nice to be able to make it happen before I hit the big 4-0 too.

Fantastic build! I can't believe you ordered 10/22 and have it already. That's a good 6 weeks faster than my build .

Thanks all! Obviously super happy and I think the interior in particular looks stunning. Looking forward to the many hours ahead learning how everything works and getting the Burmester audio setup to my liking. Should be fun.

At this point though I've passed the excited stage and am now mostly numb just waiting for the hours to pass... one more sleep as they say.
