Curious what kind of oil pressure your cars are running at? My 991 at idle is around 2 bars and creeps up real slow at higher rpm. 5000 rpm has me at 3 bars or so. Compared to my 2005 997 which would be around 3 bars at idle and peg the gauge above 3500.

Not worried, just wondering where your numbers are.

Your 991 sounds about right, pegging the gauge would concern me more on your 997 unless you changed out the gauge.

Sold the 997 but the oil pressure was substantially higher with that car. That's why I'm asking. Different cars and was wondering what the norm is.
