By the way, I hadn't seen your thread when I was configuring, but labored long and hard over the Cognac/Espresso combo. It was a long week of configurating.

Ultimately I settled on Garnet Red/Black in a nod to the amped-up nature of the GTS package, but if I were getting an S it would have been your interior most likely. It's great to see in person.

Garnet/Black is my favorite interior. Sapphire Blue is my favorite exterior. Wish I could make them work together.

I forget, what's your exterior color?

GT. Had it on a 2004 Boxster S 550 and have loved it ever since.

And I got the advantage of getting to sit in a white Turbo S with Garnet/Black that my dealer has had for a little while. It just confirmed that this was the right choice for me.

Yup. Great, great combo. GT Silver, black accents, red/black interior. It'll be stunning.

Gorgeous build. Really like the leather dash and deviated stitching. Are those leather sun visors and if so whats your take?

Gorgeous car! Question on the leather visors: is it easy to remove the airbag warning stickers from the leather? On my current car I ordered the visors separately from suncoast because I was afraid the stickers would be hard to remove from leather.

Nova, in regards to the visor sticker, go to Hobby Lobby and buy a sheet of black vinyl if your interior is black (it's sticky on one side and used to make signs I think.) Measure and cut the rectangle to size slightly larger than your sticker which gives you room for error. Apply it right over the sticker. I can honestly say that nobody has ever noticed without me pointing it out. My brother with a 997 gave me the idea and I passed it on to several friends with 991's as well.

Well, my GTS sat with my dealer for almost three months, and since this year's spring is no different than winter here in Boston, I gave in to my more primal urges yesterday (hell, I'm only human!!). So I took the car and headed south with a car-loving buddy. We found some dry roads and even a bit of sun. She got dirty pretty quickly but I got to get the top down for a couple hours on what turned out to be a pretty fun first drive.

And for those of you who were following, a software update got the correct GTS Cab icon in the MFD.

Very happy now!
