Thanks.

Deviating stitching on the optional steering column leather is a separate option that is not available on the GTS. As I understand things, with the GTS, deviating stitching on the optional leather dash and optional leather vents is only available with two tone interiors (that come with deviating stitching elsewhere) or with the GTS alcantara comms package. It's all crazy and more than a bit disappointing.

Absolutely gorgeous and agree with the "generational" wheel swap. T

I love it. The interior will get so many compliments. I really like the interior/exterior combo.

Looking at yours makes me wish I would have done more research before I ordered. I didn't know about the deviated stitching when I ordered.

Oh well. Next time.

interesting that the PCM display shows "Carrera GTS" and the MFD does not - sounds like a f/w patch may be required!

Have you thought about clear tail markers ... takes the "red" out of the back of the car, just a thought!

I think that there are two schools of thought on the clear tails. Those who like them on dark colors like black and DBM for contrast, and those who like them on light colors like white and silver for a more integrated look. I go to the second school.

Gorgeous! Love the mix of the classy interior combo with the sporty aspects of the GTS exterior. Really nicely executed!

Thanks for the pm. It's interesting. Just this morning I saw a pic of a GTS Cab in a dealer's inventory. It had the Carrera S splash on the MFD. Hopefully there's a software patch out there that I can have installed before I pick my car up when the weather gets better.

Man, I don't envy you the wait! It's hard enough waiting on mine to be built and shipped -- but if it was six miles away at my dealer I'd be crazy!

Thanks for the empathy. And my dealer's 2.5 miles away. And there's still more snow forecast this weekend.

Uggh! Listen, I wouldn't offer this to just anybody, but I like you, kid. If you want me to keep it in the south for you till you're ready, what can I say? I'm a sucker for a sob story like yours.

Ship it on down here before I change my mind.
