Hey guys. Some of this stuff is just way to expensive. Found some free stands curbside. What do you think?

Bet he wished he had center locks that day. Man! Feel sorry for that person.

Can't remember where I saw it or who was asking, but here is an Optimol source on the west coast for you DIYers.

OK this thread has gotten me a little worried.... now pricing a second floor jack for putting the car on my jackpoint stands.... not positive it is necessary but hey, it's another tool and that is never bad

Not necessary? Correct. Is it nice and gives me more peace of mind? Sure.

A $100K car isn't necessary either.

Just got a Harbor Freight steel 3 ton low profile (minimum 2-7/8") as a second jack and works like a charm on a 2013 C4. Get it on sale for maybe $80.00!

You don't need two jacks. I spent hours reading different threads and learned so much about how to properly/safely jack up a 991.2 that I decided to make a video with everything I learned as a way to give back to community:
(if you watch this please let me know if I missed anything, or if I am doing anything wrong)
