Really like your Basalt - enjoy! I have had two metallic black cars. A little bit more work on the detail, but they look fantastic when done.

I too will have to get used to the low lip and spasm. Wife wants to move in the spring. I never thought that I would have to add driveway pitch to my house hunting check-list.

Cool. Yeah, I guess you're right it doesn't need replaced that often. I figured out that if I do scrape it, I can just rub the bottom with my hand and smooth it out again. It's just plastic.

And yes, the handling is sick.

Thanks. I always thought it was stupid to pay extra for the metallic upgrade because black is black, but put the two side by side (at the dealer) and you can really see the difference.
