actually saw a 991 Cabriolet on the way into work this morning, Racing Yellow exterior and a red leather interior, not my choice of interior color, but it worked.

You are about to spend approx $ 120-150ish for your new dream 991 GTS that can be ordered in pretty much any color you like and your going on an open forum to let others choose for you ? Pick an exterior color you really like albeit a standard, optional or even PTC. Don't be afraid to get your partner involved (if that applies) on color choice and go for it.02 T

I've been all over the place on this one. I love sapphire and think it's the best exterior color, but I can't get an interesting interior to go with it (I've ruled out the GTS alcantara). I'm now leaning toward DBM with either espresso or cognac/espresso, or Carmine with cognac/espresso.
But that will all likely change tomorrow.

In all instances, I am going with the espresso/cognac interior, which has really narrowed down my exterior colour choice for me. I think it would go well all three, but this expired eBay auction link shows how special DBM with espresso/cognac looks:

But, I keep returning to white because of the nice contrast with the black sunroof.
Order is locked in February, still plenty of time to decide...lol.

In hindsight I should have left out c-****, and will delete from that post, my bad. Do feel that the OP or anyone else would be happier choosing the color of choice and that's a positive. Please enlighten me with a pm on how you happen to know if I could or could not afford a 991. 77tony

I know you're joking ... I just think the poll would be more useful if these four completely different standard colors were not grouped together as a single option.

It's nice to see that Mahogany and Anthracite each have a vote; I think both will look great. I'm pretty surprised Agate has only one vote. I think the GTS will look killer in Agate.
