Weird notes on car today
My wife and I went to the flick today, mid-day in an upper end shopping district in the Phoenix area. (Gone Girl, good show.)
Returning, about 3 hours later, there were two sticky notes on the driver's side window. Each explained that they had witnessed someone run into the back of our car. The first note left a phone number if "they could help us". The second note went so far as to say that it was a white Yukon and noted a license number, the time of the incident along with a phone number and identified themself as "Barbara".
The car was parked in a handi-cap spot in front of a business in this shopping area.
There were no blemishes on the 991 and we can only surmise a scam we're not familiar with, OR, a lonely sole needing some German attention.....??
Haven't tried to trace the phone numbers yet.

Humans. Some are so pitiful.
Gone Girl was a very good movie. I never read the book. The camera really loves Rosamund Pike. Very pretty lady.

The movie was good but too predictable. SPOILER

It should have opened at the end of the story, Fight Club-style, with an outtake from a newscast in 2035 showing her being rescued from a torture chamber in her husband's basement. By the end of the movie you'd feel sympathy for him, and even sorrier for the cops who found her.
Oh, wait, this was supposed to be about weird notes on the car, not weird notes on the movie...

Wait a week. Then text "Barbara" explaining you are looking for the one who is heir to a million dollar fortune. Leave a number with intl area code 234. (Nigeria) Bonus points for absurdly bad grammar.

Ive always hoped to come back to my car to find a pair of crotchless panties stuck to the window with the (former) wearers phone # written on them!
