Not a comment, but an action. Passing slower traffic, top down, I hear a diesel "whomp" accelerating behind me. Guy in a giant motorhome pulls alongside, honks and gives a big cheese-eating grin and thumbs up.

I have been approached several times with the comment that my 991 is their "Dream Car."
We are humbled every-time and respond to them that our 991 is our dream car also and we thankful everyday.

All my 13 year old nephew wanted for his birthday was to go for a ride. I showed him how launch controlled worked, as the the car tore off he yelled "this is the greatest day of my life!"
Nothing better that making a kid happy.

I was looking at one in an airport lobby and tufa little old lady walks by and says "you should get one of those!" And I say "I have one of those" And she says "oh you little rascal!" It was pretty adorable.

I had a student (I teach high school) come up to me with his phone & showed me pictures of my car with me driving it. He excitedly told me how he saw my car & had to take a picture, then realized he knew the driver!
His response..."Mr. D, that car is SWAGALICIOUS"!

At the grocery store the other day I parked and this kid walking past said "wow, look at that!" to his dad. His dad smiled and said "that's a Porsche" and his mom said "he likes your car". That really made my day.
Another time there was a kid that saw me putting groceries in the frunk and was starring. I told him the car needs to eat too and he had a great look on his face.
I've yet to find the "chick magnet" button for the car though.

I pulled up to a stop light and this early 20's woman pulls alongside. I look over and she throws me a kiss. She was probably 1/3 my age, but it made my day. I had to laugh, then the light turned green.
My best compliment was when an attractive, middle aged woman who has money and appreciates the finer things tells you "that's a beautiful car" but she's already my girlfriend.

Mine - the car was photographed by cellphone-weilding drivers innumerable times when on our Euro Delivery trip.

I remember another reaction I really liked, but it was a nonverbal one. My wife didn't like the idea of getting a 991, she thought it is way too expensive and too much of a show off car. When we test drove the car the first time, she felt uncomfortable, almost embarrassed. On the second drive, she was behind the steering wheel, and after the first time she rev'd the engine up to 3000 rpms, she had a huge smile on her face. I sat next to her and just loved the moment!
I signed my order that same day.... :-)

Have a friend just today drop in while I was at work. He has asked before if I would take him for a ride, so today I took him out. After 10 minutes I pulled over and said your turn! He drove it for maybe 3 minutes and tonight he texted me saying his looking online for a 911.
He was looking for a sport bike or Viper. I knew the 991 would make him forget about bikes and vipers!
