Hit their website, they have several pics Of the ducktail in your color, it even has clear taillights to let you see the full effect.

looks good with the clear tails and ducktail ... still uncertain about the tail on a cabriolet when top down ... although I suppose I dont have to look at it while I'm driving!

I like the "all" clear lights ... on the 997's there is still some red ...

I think I am going to change my build to add:

- the leather/alacantara interior with the seat heating cooling (GY) 18 ways
- interior trim pkg painted
- PCM surround painted
- yachting blue seatbelts
- std power folding mirrors
- mirror trim painted
- rear fascia painted

This is deleting the GTS comms pkg, the full alacantara and the SD mirrors but gaining leather seats and trim painted ...

thoughts?

I think its should pop. You sure you can still change your build Larry? My dealer and I talked yesterday and my order was supposed to lock Nov 15th and it actually locked on Oct 20th. He said he could still change stuff but he couldn't guarentee it actually would change.

Really a personal preference Larry, they both look so good. I like the Alcantara interior and think it looks great. It will also be cooler than the leather out in the open sun but I so love the smell and look of the all leather interior! Some say the Alcantara doesn't wear well, however I was just looking online at some 2011 & 2012 GTS models and all the Alcantara interiors still looked new to me. Since it is a GTS model and is geared towards performance also the Alcantara leans more towards that theme for me. Unfortunately unless the thread of the Targa GTS is true I will not get to make this decision like you..lol

IMO I think on a cab the GTS package is hot.

With that being said the blue trim would also be very nice. I just prefer the gts package.

Sounds familiar...

Awesome you're going with the PCM surround painted too, I couldn't stomach the cost on that one after blowing past my original budget. I personally prefer the look of the Sport Design mirrors quite a bit but if you need folding mirrors then that is the way to go... I've had them on the last couple cars and really don't have much need for them given I rarely street park.

That said the GTS Comms package would look killer with the top down... decisions decisions.

Yeah I am in two minds about the SD mirrors ... and you are right about the cost of the PCM paint ... as well as the cool factor of the GTS pkg w/alacantara

tick tick tick...

I actually think the GTS package is going to be pretty rare. Most of the GTS build I have read about are skipping it.

If I was going cab I would do it.

on GTS with the wider rear, the mirrors are not much further out than the rear arches.

Ive been playing with the 3D fly-thru mode ... it really helps visualize the options on the car...

I think Ive settled on my build... I'm passing on the GTS comms pkg, 4K is too much for dev stitching and CF, I'm going with the interior painted to exterior color, and contemplating dropping 2k on painting the PCM surround too ...

I will keep the SD mirrors, painting the rear fascia and I might also paint the side skirts...

I will stick with the 'std' leather/alacantara interior all I am trying to decide is if I should go with colored seat belts or not!
