Great build Larry! After very long and painful deliberation, I have decided to stay with my targa 4S build. I will be joining you in the blue department though - I'm going with dark blue metallic! Cheers

Hey one thing to note guys, the GTS comes with 245/305 rubber as std regardless of which wheel option picked, another albeit minor reason to get a GTS ... if you dont already have a 991 that is.

The spousal unit is only interested in brands such as Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Christian Lubuton, Prada etc ... so unless Porsche does a 911 Valentino edition I think is my secret safe ...

She went from a 550 to a 750 because "she likes big cars" ... then she started noticing cabs everywhere ...

note that this is a bit like the bowling ball that Homer got Marge (Simpson) for her birthday ... the ball that said "Homer" on it!

I like it better without the duck tail, unless you're looking to put a bumper sticker back there.

I'm torn... I prefer the "C2S" engine cover over the "GTS" ... but I see what people mean about the lines with the top up/down...

I hate to abandon Sapphire Blue ... but GT Silver works better...

Larry, please don't add the ducktail.

And I think the black engine cover looks good, whether on Sapphire Blue or on GT Silver. If it looks this good in the configurator, it will look so much better in person.

good point ... ok just for you I wont!

I guess if I really hate the GTS cover I can always pick up one and get it painted

I don't think the ducktail looks "better" on a cab with the top down. I'm still debating on my coupe - it's probably going to be a last minute decision, but my guess is "no".

I think that's it right there ^^^.
Ducktail always looks better (fantastic) in the flesh IMO... But more so on the coupe... Not sure if it suits the cabrio lines...
Will look astonishing either way & love the blue!

I wouldn't do the ducktail. Otherwise, I think you've got a spectacular build lined up.
