Very nice, gorgeous look. The best I've seen. I need some education on why these wheels are so expensive. Thank you.

Probably the biggest: cost of doing this type of business in California. In addition, all of our products (including the forged blanks) are sourced within the US and Italy, with exception to the FlowForm line. Market demand, people are willing to pay for a quality product that's created and assembled together by hand, much like time pieces.
Then there's the unlimited customization, research and development, QC, safety testing, including TUV which is expensive but required for our products.
And that's just the start...

Because people continue to buy them at these prices. Why does Porsche charge $200k for a TTS? Quality? Sure. But there is more to it than that. If dealers were sitting with lots of TTSs pretty sure we would see some effect on pricing. No doubt these are gorgeous, high quality wheels, but the cost is staggering. To each his/her own.

Price tag is a result of a few factors...

I feel the answer is simple. HRE does not cut corners at all. They use the best materials hands down. The majority of their materials are proprietary to meet their standards. They are a TUV certified company which ensures that every part of their processes meet the toughest standards in the world. TUV truly means nothing to the US consumer because you can purchase a non TUV approved wheel. It does mean you are buying a wheel that has been designed, engineered, and tested to the highest standards in the world.
There are other good companies, but I feel HRE does the best at finding that balance between form and function.
