Worth the 5 Month Wait...

Yes the last 12 days were very difficult for me as the car sat in SD at the port, especially after seeing it cross the Ocean and through the canal. Dealer said it normally takes 7 days after port arrival to reach Marin County but it is out of their control as PNA conducts the shipping. Regardless my dealer did a fantastic job- the haul truck arrived at 3 pm Saturday and they prepped and had me in the car by 5:30, in time to enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend with the 911. It's a fantastic car.

Beautiful car. I agree with others who have said that the wood trim bits really seem to work with the 2 tone black/ red interior. I absolutely love that interior combo.

The mahogany looks beautiful. I looked at putting wood in my Rhodium Silver C2S order with black full leather interior, but the standard "chrome" painted trim just seemed to look better. Even considered polished aluminum but it seemed not bright enough compared to the standard "free" trim so I spent the money on PDCC (this will start flames).
Being a member of the National Woodie Club . . . and having teak dash trim in my first 1965 911, I guess I am one of the minority who think the wood trim is glorious in a 911. It really makes the red leather look rich.

Pete - thanks for the support of using wood trim in a Porsche. We would not have it any other way.
