Default 991 door panel

Anyone else experienced a lifting of the inside panel from the subframe? Presumably the panel should have been glued to the plastic component. No signs of any glue on mine. Door panel ETA is four weeks.BTW...I do live in Phoenix where internal temps can reach 150F. My Scottsdale dealer says none of his cars on the lot show problems.

Wow. That is definitely a problem. Hopefully an easy replacement and it will good as new. You have to think that the temps could play a role in that.

Is it actually deformed or unclipped? Can you just press it back into place? It seems like the end is clipped in incorrectly forcing it into a bow.

Deformed. Heat related but not all because of the heat. That's a defect door card. Seen it before. The dealer will replace it under warranty. Unfortunate you have to wait so long. Get a 10,000 or 20,000 free mileage service out of your dealer for the wait. Not their fault Germany is on holiday but you would think someone in the states would stock at lease ONE passenger side door car in that color.

It is definitely deformed. Will not go back into place as it springs right back out of shape. I was told it is supposed to be chemically bonded to the plastic frame but I see no signs of any chemical residue. They do have the driver's side in stock, but not the passenger side.

Hope you get that all sorted out, and if that were a driver side door problem, they would be out of stock on the driver side but not the passenger.
