Default Glass roof problem. Anyone else?

My friend just took delivery of his custom ordered 2015 C2 last week. Two days off the lot the glass roof quit working. No tilt or sliding. Just silent. Shade works though. He took it in and dealer said it just needs to re initialize the computer again. According to dealer, sometimes it needs a second wake up from the long boat ride to the port of SoCal. Well, two more days after the "re initialization" it quit working again. What gives? Anyone else having this issue? I feel bad because I sort of influenced him into Pcars.

I only had an issue the very first time of opening the roof, the fabric at the front did not raise all the way. The second time it worked and never stopped working since.

No issues. Works perfect. That "wake up" after the boat ride excuse seems lame.

No problems and no squeaks here. I love mine. Sorry for your troubles.

What I thought were squeaks from the roof was actually from the passenger door it appears. When I pull the handle a bit, it stops making a noise.

No problem with mine. I would not buy another without it. Even considered turning my 2013 in for a targa until I realized that a solid panel would be over my head when the roof was not open. The glass roof really opens up the car to make it feel airy & spacious when it is closed. Love it!

Agreed. Off to the dealer again next week. Wonder what their next lame excuse would be.

Very irritating indeed.

It's a beaut up close. The contrast between the dark glass and silver is really eye catching.

No problems on my 13C2S. Sorry to hear someone has a problem. Still, I guess that is what warranty is for, to get rid of the gremlins.

We have a 2013 C2 with the glass roof and had the same problem. However, the dealer re-programming finally put it back on track. See the dealer...again. Sorry
