I regret getting the Diono RXT for my 2014 C2S. There are two problems with it.

First, it's too tall, so the seat is tilted about 15 degrees off the vertical axis, abutting against the B-pillar.

Second, the adjustment buckle for the rear LATCH does not sit flat, and instead when properly tightened, is pulled almost into a vertical orientation, thereby gouging like a knife into the top if the seat back. It will leave a big dent in the car seat, and given the low density of the cushion, it will be permanent, even with padded seat protectors placed down before the car seat.

I do not recommend the Diono RXT for the 991. I'm going to try either the Cosco high back booster, or the Recaro Performance Booster as an alternative. I'll re-post after I try it out.

From your post, I picked up that car seat, too - use it for the other back seat. It fits perfect! The older kids sit in this one, the youngest in the Porsche-branded one.

I buckle the seat beat around it when no kids are in it so it doesn't slide around...

+1 - just bought two of these for my niece and nephew. Just took my niece in it tonight - she said " wow this has way more room than my dad's mustang!"

Thanks!

I bought the costco no back seat and it fits perfectly in the back seat...tried it out in a GTS Cab in Stuttgart this morning.

Any pictures with kids in the seats? It's one thing to fit the car seat in, but my wife says no 991 unless our smallest 8 and 5 year olds will actually have space for their legs once they get back there. Blur kids faces if you like

Sorry, just tried the seat fit at the dealer but didn't put our son in the seat as it was a brand new 991 GTS. Looked just fine though...the base of the seat fit completely within the width and depth of the seat.

Try the 997 forum, I have seen some pictures with kids this age in the back seat. If they fit inside a 997 I am sure 991 is no problem.

My 10 and 6 year old fit perfectly back there - the car is made for them . 10 yr old is just over 4.5'.

FYI that cab seats are a bit more upright than the coupe.

My 4, 6, and 8 year olds fit fine in car seats in the back - I can only take two at a time though lol. Another couple of years and the oldest will be able to ride in the front seat.

Recaro Performance Booster does not fit the back of a 991. Don't bother with it.
