Another consequence of the reflash the dealer probably performed.
I heard from my SA as well as here, that the WE02 Insturment Panel reflash was suspended.
It would be interesting to know if it shows as done on this service paperwork.

Default diff engine....but

Exact same issue with my prior 2007 Cayman. I even rigged a clear bottle to the port to catch/prove/measure the burp overflow. When refilling the coolant, these cars do have pockets and have to be tilted/moved about to settle the fluid. If not, it may read low or leak through the overflow port. Park place Dallas response to all this.....?...... Wait for it......." This is normal "

My service receipt does list WE02 being done. And just as stated, the digital temp gauge now reads 194 instead of 200.

Oh, and after a couple more days driving, all is well. I'm on vacation this week and most likely taking a road trip in it. I was originally thinking Durango or maybe Santa Fe but some other stuff has tied me up at home and my interest in driving that far for just a few days is dwindling. Will probably throw my mountainbike on the roof and go do a tour of a few Texas trails for a few days.

Perhaps lowering the temp to 194 fixed the problem.
Just dont let it get to 200 again ; ) jk
