Anyone else got a seat this squeaky?
Starting to drive me nuts. Anytime I lean my leg against the side bolster, going over bumps, cornering etc, it squeaks. Made a little video to show what I mean.
Anyone else have this issue?

That sucks, but I'm sure it's easily fixable. I just fixed mine tonight, but my squeak was in the shoulder bolster. Turned out to be the quick release for back seat entry. I sprayed a tiny bit of WD-40 in the channel for the lever, and it's fixed.
I'll trade you my stumbling/hesitating car your you squeaky seat if you'd like.

I'm in the leather upholstery business, and a squeak like that is a workmanship defect where typically a spring or other metal part lacks proper clearances and rubs against a solid structure. Assuming your car is still under warranty, they will most likely replace the seat base on it.

Interesting. Thank you.
Someone else mentioned this:
"I had exactly the same thing too. About a month ago dealer service removed the seat inspected this area and fouls loose wires and connections rubbing. They put sound deadening foam in this area which has drastically improved it. Still maybe tiny squeak once in a while but not that totally irritating squeak you would get moving your leg up and down."

I hope you get it fixed. Good luck.
On the lighter side, that video taken out of context could be rather hard to explain ...

I have a rag stuffed under the lever to hold it up a little. With the rag in place seat is totally quiet. I thought of spraying some WD40 in there but I was afraid to.
Thanks for the tip, I am going to give it a try.
You would think a little more care would be taken with the seat construction!
