For some reason my rear view mirror doesn't tilt any more when reversing.
In the car setting menu, it is selected to tilt down when reversing, I double checked.
Am I missing something here?

You have to make sure the right mirror adjustment button on the door is depressed. Lots of times people press the left side button to adjust their driver side mirror and forget to depress the right side button again. If the right side mirror button is not depressed, the right side mirror will not tilt in reverse.

Edit: still not doing anything. Maybe I am just being dumb or maybe it will just magically work again.

I may just be reading your post wrong, but it sounds like your talking about your rear view mirror as in the one on your windshield? I don't believe that one moves at all, the ones that tilt are your side view mirrors...sorry if you already knew that and I miss understood.

Side view. No did not save settings. I will try that.

I think you have to adjust the mirror while in reverse, and then save the setting.

If you do that, does it revert to the previous setting when you place it back in drive?

Yes. I think the process is to put car in reverse, adjust right side mirror to tilt the way you want it, then hit save. Once you put car in drive, mirror will move to previous position (takes about 10 seconds or so to move back).
