What did you do to your 991 today?

We did some alpine passes during the last couple of days: Stelvio, Fluela, Silvretta, Gavia, Passo d'Eira. And have also visited Galtür, Bormio, St. Moritz, Bergamo, Lago di Como, Edolo and finally Meran. It was such a nice drive, I could get in the car immediately again...
Cheers

I went to Publix today to use my $5 off coupon... Or at least thats what I used to justify the trip. Then I loaded up the frunk. For the record, it holds a 12 pack of beer and 2 paper bags of groceries. The eggs I put in the rear seat footwell. They survived. I love this car. So practical!

Didn't have a radar detector with us so drove "generally" within 10-15 mph of the limit. These cars burn no gas at NA highway speeds - >32 mpg? Loved the fact you can switch the units of the digital speedo from kph to mph.

Had a suspension alignment done at my local Porsche Centre today - some figures were minor off the recommended factory numbers. According to the factory mechanic who did the work and is also responsible for the 991 GT3 cup cars all new cars should get aligned throughout after an initial 2-3k kms as most suspension parts will settle a bit during break-in.
Regarding negative camber on the front he recommended the upper factory limit of -1.15°.
Also a nice riviera 991 GT3 was waiting for maintenance in the backyard:

At 9000 miles, my car developed a bad vibration in the steering along with cupped inner tread balancing didn't help so I replaced the tires and had the car aligned. Both camber was out -1.5 deg on both sides. What a difference after alignment. Michelin PSS's now have almost 6000 miles on them and they are riding nice and smooth.

Did the mini van mod via Weathertech. Great fitting all-weather floor liners.
