Adding Sport Design Aerokit

Adding Sport Design Aerokit
Does anybody know what is involved in adding Sport Design aero kit? The OEM kit is available on suncoast, but what exactly is involved? Does the kit come primer and needs to be painted? Does the spoiler button need to be disconnected?
Does a dealer need to install, or can it be done by a professional bodyshop?
Would love to figure out exactly whats involved and cost. It would be going on a c4s coupe.
Thanks.

The parts will be primed. Will require paint. I'm sure a high quality prof bodyshop can handle this job.
I could have sworn a Rennlister was trying to sell just the front SD bumper. But I can't find the old post. That would be a good place to buy the bumper, but then you'd have to source the rear tail.

I was contemplating of adding a ducktail, but my local paint shops suck. Any good body shop can handle the install, you can probably do it yourself. Again, it's the painting part that is tricky (IMHO). And I wouldn't do any blending otherwise you can kiss your resell value good-bye.

I definitely won't paint any other panels. its a black car so I assume there won't be any need to blend/fade.
Whats the stuff I hear about sunroof cars needing to be reprogrammed?
Also, anybody know if the rear spoiler button need to be deleted?

On one of the kits the rear wing comes up higher requiring the reprogram.

Mine was installed by the dealer. The parts came primed in a matt white finish.
Spoiler button is there but disconnected. much better than another blank.
Sunroof has to be reprogrammed aswell.

I could understand why a reprogram for the Cup aerokit because of that rear decklid wing element (but that would be the decklid itself and not the sunroof) if a
reprogram of the sunroof is required it can only be due to airflow over the
ducktail from the sunroof when open ... I could imagine that with the ducktail or cup aero a reprogram would be required to disable the automatic raising of the decklid at speed ...

its got to be something like that; obviously with the ducktail in either cup or sport design the rear wing needs to be disabled, but the only thing the sunroof can have to do with that has to be airflow across the tail ...
let us know what your service advisor says ... totally curious

Thought i'd update this thread to help anybody who decides to do this in the future.
The upgrade is comprised of three parts.
1 - The OEM porsche upgrade kit. You can either buy this online or from your local dealers parts dept.
2 - A professional bodyshop to finish, paint, and install the parts.
3 - Reprogramming the car.
After exploring different options i ended up talking to my parts dept manager and negotiating the price of the kit a little cheaper than online pricing. I also dont pay freight, but i do pay state taxes (which i wouldnt pay had i ordered from suncoast).
I visited several porsche certified bodyshops that my local dealers recemmended and met with estimators and managers. Most shops initially proposed 'blending' and painting other panels. After some probing most agreed that we could get an acceptable match without blending (the car is black) which i prefer. The shop I chose is charging about $1,000 for paint and install. Parts will be drop shipped to the bodyshop where they'll be painted and then bolted on.
After parts are installed i am planning to have the car towed (flatbed) back to the dealer for reprogramming. I thought about driving it over but i'm not sure if there is a way to disable the rear lid from rising.
Parts were ordered yesterday and should be received at the bodyshop next week, hopefully by Wed the 3rd. Will keep this thread updated and add some pictures of the process for whoevers interested.

Is this really necessary? Just stay below 70 mph. Wing won't deploy.
