Ammo is so good. People are always so afraid to compound the car, but most of the time it's necessary to get the paint to jewel like you want.

Speaking of the C2S, any update on that car?
I've just decided to stop obsessing about it and enjoy the ride.

Money, I want to hear more about the M3. How many miles on her now? Seems like a great car. I heard one in a tunnel and it sounded F1 like. Is it a fun drive?

I'm am really excited about it. It is very good. I just hit 1,000 miles on it, so I'm still developing my opinion. The 911 is still much better, but the M3 is awesome in its own right. I'll be sure to type up a review soon.

Which polisher do you recommend? I was thinking of getting the Rupes BF 15 and 3". Is the 15 too small to work the larger surfaces?

I am a rookie at this and will work on my X5 first for practice but do not plan to do anything too aggressive -- if I ever need paint correction, I'll likely take the car to a detailer unless I get some confidence.

Thanks. Duke

The 15 is probably better than the 21 for the contours of the Porsche body panels. I end up using my Duetto for most of the car, so I wish I had a 15 instead. I have a Griot's 3", but I want to replace it with the mini.

Matt,

What do you recommend for bringing out some shine in the oem exhaust tips? Mine are looking a bit dull, but I'm not sure what is safe to use. Thanks.

This is what you need. It works really well. I use it on mine every couple of months.

it might be a bit easier to go to a couple autobody places and see if they have some spare parts you can take and practice on.

Will it work on wheels too or is that a separate cleaner?

I don't think I'd use the P21S Polishing Soap on the wheels. I really like this for regular wheel cleaning:
