Thank you!
Funny story, I went on a little rally over the weekend. The majority of the cars there were Porsches, and all amazing guys who have a passion for the brand and a passion for driving.
There was a guy with a McLaren, you know the type, drives like an a-hole, needs the 'look at me' car in bright Orange, the polar opposite of a Porsche driver, who own the cars because they are a drivers car.
Long story short, a friend went with him on the rally, and my friend was talking about the Speedster, how rare they are, etc. the McL guy had no idea what it was, thought it was a base Porsche, and basically called it a POS, because that what all 911s are to him.
He was surprised that Porsche had exclusive limited edition models outside the CGT, and 918. If you want to talk about sheer numbers, there are less Speedsters in the world than there are 918s, and CGTs. While it may not be a super/hypercar on its own platform, and is a 911 variant, I will take it any day because it drives raw, handles incredible, and is a true roadster. The fact that you can pull up and it's understated is what I love about the Speedster.
Imagine if I drove up in a Sport Classic. That would elicit a "that little Porsche has a racing stripe comment, how cute!"
As my friend put it, he will likely be an owner of one soon, since it is now fashionable.
Sorry to run off on a tangent, but thought you all would appreciate it.
Again, thanks for the comments on the car. I love it, and do drive it.

Sorry, I've really tried, but not a fan of the black/white storm trooper look that seems to be so popular lately. But I appreciate that everyone has their own idea of what looks good. Welcome to the Internet...
