What option did you miss?
Most people did a lot of research before their purchase, but afterwards learned they missed something.
I missed the PSE, I thought the stock was great but hadn't heard the PSE. My bad! But I can fix it.

Thats right 991 not a bad mistake to make considering you can retro fit. I wish I would have went with full leather!

It's a blessing for sure that PSE can be added later! If you had to pick one option that is a must have, it would be hard to argue that there is a better option than PSE. Ok, I guess heated seats are nice too lol.
BTW, your car is absolutely stunning, Agate with Platinum wheels looks amazing, I've never seen this configuration before.

Thanks Geoff, it was a dealer order and when I saw it I had to have it. When I get it out of winter storage it is going in for the PSE.

I traded in a 2004 c4s cab for a polar silver with yachting blue 991 base car. I waited 13 months for them to pass pts polar silver. Was in contact with Melissa but after all that they never passed the color. So I got base 991 white with the blue guts, power steering and sport steering wheel. Thats it no other option because I was a little bitter for waiting I just wanted a car. Anyway I love it and do not miss any option. Hopefully next time I can get pts polar silver. No regrets.

Got the multi function wheel w/shift buttons for the PDK....not very intuitive.
Planning a paddle retrofit. Would not order again (I do like the other controls though)

I consider that I was very lucky. After scouring in stock inventory on the Porsche website across the country, I finally bought off the lot at a dealer in Connecticut (I live in NYC) a year ago now.
It had everything I looked for: Carrera S, Basalt Black, 18-way seats, PDK, SC, PDCC + SPASM, PSE, Carrera Classic Wheels, two tone leather, Bose, etc.
Missing was only the Sport Design wheel with paddle shifters, and later as I discovered the 5mm spacers. Had the spacers installed 6 mo. ago, and next week I am going to finally swap out the tiptronic wheel (not multi-function) for the Sport Design wheel, what will be a $1.5k retrofit total.

I got standard interior and haven't missed full leather. But for the reasonable price as I recall it to be I should have probably gotten the center console with the logo Carrera S on it, which would have made that part leather, and probably crests on the headrest. Not having these has not lessened my enjoyment of the car at all, but next time around I would probably get them.

i have never been able to understand how "paint to sample" choices can get turned down. its like going to an all you can eat buffet and when you go up, they inform you that such & such isn't available even though it is in front of your eyes
