When you connect your iPhone to the PCM via the USB cable (no Bluetooth), Aha synchs automatically. For me, that turned real time traffic on in Aha Settings automatically. Try opening the Aha app and confirm if the "Real Time traffic" is on.

May also have to confirm that it's not a Europe-only thing. Why would they provide real-time traffic in America now and undercut XM from making money on traffic subscribers.

Yes, but don't you have to pay for it via XM? The Real-time traffic (RTT) in Europe is free.

I'm in US, but curious if the online services option was @$200, what did the dealer in Germany charge you to retrofit?

What have been your experiences with it?

Online Services was about $85. I also had the software upgrade to 4.76 for $175 and Euro Map Update for $220.

Online Services is great over here because it allows you to use Aha, but it also gives you real time traffic for free, unlike the States. I will miss that when we return this summer. Having to pay for RTT through Sirius/XM Traffic and weather will bug me.
