Bottom line is: They work.

If you open driver side window fully, but passenger about half way or even a bit lower, buffering goes away. My PCA region allows to do this at their HPDE days.

Personally, I feel all of the "flap" designs are a bit ugly including that $200 double back tape Blackmill version.
Why doesn't Porsche or someone just manufacture the plastic triangle cover in the shape of a pyramid? It doesn't need much rise at all. That would solve the problem and look astectically more pleasing than what I see in this thread. I don't have the time to build a prototype as I have zero spare time but someone make this part here in the shape of a pyramid in carbon fiber. Like I said it needs no more than an inch in "rise" and keep it the shape of the existing cover. It won't create that shhhhh wind noise either. Just hold your hand there with your knuckles in the shape creating a point with your knuckles.
Like this.
My apologies in advance for my crude Microsoft paint drawing.

Whomever takes this design and produces it consider it a gift from the internet.

With all due respect to the imaginative folks who crafted fixes out of cardboard and other waste products, I admire their craft. However, I wanted something more functional and fashionable for a Porsche. Please do not denigrate the effort. They work great and look great.

Correct. SM_ATL received one of our early prototypes for testing purposes, so we could get an outside opinion on their effectiveness at the track.
Bottom line is: They work.
