Black Leather with Alcantara inlays and 'Platinum Grey' deviating stitching is the default interior combination on a 991 gt3. So it's not difficult for you to imagine it on a full black leather interior 'Turbo' model. It will look very elegant and distinct. The beauty of 'Platinum Grey', at least how it has been done in the gt3 model, is that it's very noticeable against the black leather or charcoal alcantara!

Thank you for clarification. I am going platinum gray on my black leather with agate gray outside

My build: 2015 tts
Agate gray exterior
Black leather
Carbon fiber
Platinum grey all stitching
White dials

Not bad for a clean look an classy look

Chose platinum over pebble or yellow!

Took 1 month to design. Thanks Eduardo for clarification!

Hi all, Minor question that I think someone can clarify for me on deviating stitching on the rear center tunnel. Can anyone confirm that option 90003 includes the stitching around the rear seat belt receivers? Or must one order deviating stitching on the front and rear seats to have the circular stitching in a deviating colour? ?eduardo?

Thanks Henry "jupjai"

Henry:

Let's see if we get this straight. Option 90003 is 'Deviated stitching for option XHS'

Option XHS is:
For $1,190. Center tunnel rear in leather with decorative stitching'. Here is what it contains:

Covered in smooth-finish leather in interior color with decorative stitching:
- center tunnel cover in rear
- storage compartment lid in center console

So I think the answer would be 'Yes'. Option 90003 covers all the deviating stitching required to make the decorative stitching color coordinated in that console, including around seat belt receivers!

But an elegant & classy guy like you, Henry, needs to go beyond that...and go for the fuller & more intricate stitching that another option gets you in that rear center console! Second photo. N'est-ce pas? That is the way that all leather interiors should be ordered on any custom 991 or 911 Turbo, especially one with a 'Lichtgrün' exterior!

Eduardo

Thanks for the details, as always, Eduardo! Very helpful.

What's the code for this one, specifically? (Second photo)

I don't think I've ever seen it before...

I believe you get those results by ordering BOTH XHS and CXN! But I have not been able to get that confirmed since I have not personally met anyone that has ordered both of these options on a custom order! You can not easily make out what these options will cover in leather & stitching from just the limited description & illustration on the 'configurator'. But you can always ask your sales person at the dealership, right? He or she should know! And if all else fails, you can ask Sascha, Melissa or Matthew at PCNA's 'Porsche Exclusive', no?

I took the photo of the rear console of a 'demo' at 'Porsche Exclusive' in Zuffenhausen in April of 2013!

CXN is
Extended Interior Package, Rear in Leather

Includes:
Covered in Smooth-Finish Leather with Decorative Stitching
- Side speaker cover (rear)
- Center tunnel storage compartment in rear
- Release lever for rear seat backrests including base plate and hinge cover

Thanks Eduardo That is what I thought - there can be TOO much stitching though and I am trying to find that magic balance. I was wondering if 24891 included that area around the seat buckle But you are correct- just order that area ALL stitched and in leather : So order XHS 90003 24891 and CXN

In theory, there can be too much stitching in a custom order of a 991. But in practice...I have yet to see it!

If anyone's interested, the are NO deviating options available for the GTS. My dealer's trying to at least get me deviating carpet for my espresso/cognac interior, bur even that is not available on the dealers' configurator.

That will be a problem for me. I may just order a TT if that's the case. Not having beige carpeting in a car I actually drive.
Eduardo, are you hearing this as well? My guy is out of town right now.

Eduardo - in your post dated 10/27/14 picture #2 shows the XHS and CXN options together. What is the color of the interior in that picture?
Thanks.

I have not...but Hinckley is the one talking to Melissa!

Simplification of the 'Porsche Exclusive' order process to get these late MY2015's built ASAP and create less headaches for themselves. GTS may also have specific out-source suppliers & vendors for their 'just-in-time' logistics. That is also why 'deviating' options are heavily restricted on the limited production gt3. My dos centavos for what is worth.

Umber, hombre! How quickly we forget. Turned out not to be popular. It's no longer offered on the 991.
