Default Spacing of lettering on the rear and the deletion of Model Designation

Good news is that my car has been born and is awaiting transport to my dealer. The only slight issue is that when I reviewed the final build on the Porsche dealer website vs. my build, I noticed that the final build did not include the deletion of the model designation. Hopefully, this is a mistake. I know it's not a big issue, but I had a few questions:

1) Has anyone removed all the badging from the rear yet (Porsche + Carrera S)? Any pictures?
2) If you order the deletion of the model designation from the factory, does the factory lower the Porsche lettering (to center it more vertically)? I think they do this, thus my next question.
3) If number two is true, does anyone have any pictures on what it would look like to remove the model designation at the dealer? I have a feeling that it might make the Porsche look too uncentered and high.
4) Does the removal of the badging mar the paint/clearcoat?

Thanks,
Rich

Pretty sure #2 is true.

Sorry I have no pics, but this would be a pretty easy photoshop.

on my cayenne's when they removed the model designation they centered the "Porsche"

it's only about .5" difference... not a really big deal...

I know they could probably center it, but would be a little worried that it might be a little crooked. I was wondering what it would look like if the all the lettering was removed.

All that acreage on the bumper cover looks too plain with no lettering.
I haven't measured, but in pictures it appears PORSCHE is centered on the taillights with or w/o the model designation.

The position is the same it just deletes the textbook below it.

The worst I saw was the other day:

Just tried it and the 3D version of the builder shows the PORSCHE lettering moves down when selecting the "Deletion of Model Designation" option.

Why anyone needs the words "P O R S C H E" on the back of a Porsche, is beyond me. Now, maybe doing a 'color to match' the exterior, like Bumperplugs offers would be a little better. But my vote is to still run naked.

We don't have a choice with the build. It's either just Porsche, or the model designation. I'm happy with the way it looks on mine. Naked wouldn't look right either. I've had a badge crack on my 997 took it off and it looked TERRIBLE.

Sweet avatar!

Yes, I understand that porsche has made this a little more difficult (a true model delete designation) for the 991.

I think I rather have the plain old Carrera S badge but suprisingly wasn't even an option!

The dealer confirmed that their system shows the model designation delete. Interesting that the website does not show it.

it is rumored that "PORSCHE" is on the rear bumper because of the present lack of name recognition in the emerging market in China.

The configurator does show the Delete Model Designation as a no cost option. It is the first option listed under the Exterior section
