Hi guys,

Trade-in question.

Looking to trade my 2014 911 Turbo S with 16k miles for a CPO 2016 Turbo S with 6k miles, red stitching accents, leather package, premium package plus, glass roof.

They are asking $36k difference.

Thoughts? Bad deal?

Thank you!

Take what it would cost you to have leased your old car times the number of months you have had it to figure the depreciation and then ask if it is fair. That is the way i figure it anyway.

I would wait and get a CPO 2017 instead. The 2016 is really the same car. Personally I think $36k is too much to trade for a 2016.

I agree that it would be better to wait for a 2017 CPO. Newer nav, steering wheel, longer CPO warranty plus the new turbos/mechanical bits.

+1. '14-'16 is really the same car, unless you really want to pay a premium to change colors or options. Wait and get a '17.

How much are they giving you for trade? I would also wait and get a 17.
